Forbes has named Credit Union of Denver one of the Best-In-State Credit Unions in the United States. Only 3.4% of credit unions across the country made the cut for the best-in-state rankings, and only five credit unions in Colorado were selected for this list.

Forbes (with Statista) identified America’s Best-In-State Credit Unions 2022 based on an independent survey. Consumers rated their overall satisfaction and scored credit unions on trust, terms & conditions, branch services, digital services, customer service, and financial advice.

Started by eight people who worked at The National Federation of Federal Employees, 91 years ago, the credit union continues to grow and carry the focus of providing financial solutions to help members meet their goals. As a not-for-profit we can offer our members lower loan rates, higher investing rates, and fewer fees.

We are always working to offer better promotions, strong customer service, financial education, and being online/mobile friendly. We also offer a budgeting tool, credit score on demand, and Zelle. We are community-based and member centric in everything we do which is why we have a scholarship committee and participate in community engagement, and events like member appreciation day celebrations.

We pride ourselves on supporting our members on every part of their financial journey. This includes being there through the hard times and the good times. For example, during the pandemic we helped hundreds of members with loan payment deferrals, special assistance loans, and we waived the early withdrawal penalties for CDs. Our entire team strives to make sure our members and their families always feel supported.

Congratulations to the other Colorado Credit Unions who made the top five list. Being a part of the Credit Union family is all about people helping people and at the end of the day we want everyone to experience the benefits of banking with a Credit Union.
